Litigation Solicitor

We have a vacancy for an experienced Litigation Solicitor.

 

We are a modern, progressive law firm, with clients ranging from well-known national names to private individuals, we are able to combine the advantages of the latest developments in technology and business practices with traditional values and genuine commitment to client care.

 

Ideally you should live within easy commuting disatnce and may be living or looking for work in the Beckenham, Bromley, Orpington or Croydon areas.

 

Working under the supervision of a senior partner, in your role as Litigation Solicitor as part of the 13 strong litigation department, you will be handling your own varied case load.

 

The appointed Solicitor should have over 5 years post qualification experience and be working as a Lawyer managing a litigation caseload in a law firm or legal environment, and be looking for a position offering excellent training, support for personal development, and long-term career stability and progression.

 

You must have the ability to work independently and prioritise your workload, possess strong IT and drafting skills, and demonstrate a real commitment to delivering the highest levels of client care.

Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

We have a vacancy for a solicitor to join our busy residential conveyancing department on a full-time basis.

This role will give you the opportunity to run your own caseload with a good level of support and be involved in continuing to market and develop the department to existing and new clients. You will be part of a small and friendly team in an established local firm with modern offices and a forward looking corporate philosophy.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years PQE with experience working in a busy residential conveyancing department. Strong IT skills and experience using a practice management system and digital dictation are preferable. Familiarity with IT packages such as Practical Law and Laserform is desirable.

The remuneration will be in accordance with our scale and will depend on ability and experience.

 

Debt Recovery Clerk

We have a full-time vacancy for a Debt Recovery Clerk.

 

Applicants must have a good telephone manner and communication skills as the position involves a significant level of client and third-party contact. Computer and good numerical literacy is essential. The work will also include dealing with MCOL and general administrative duties such as data entry.

 

This position would ideally suit an enthusiastic and energetic person.  

 

Family Law Solicitor

We have a vacancy for a qualified Family Solicitor to join the PJH team.

Initially it will involve working as part of a small team led by a senior partner but there will be opportunities for progression to work more independently in our Matrimonial department.

We welcome applications from candidates who meet the criteria below:

  • Minimum 5 years PQE
  • Legal Aid Supervisor requirements:
  1. acted as a Legal Aid Supervisor in Family Law for at least one year in the five year period prior to the completion of Supervisor Declaration Form

or

  1. completed an approved training course covering key supervisory skills no earlier than 12 months prior to the completion of Supervisor Declaration Form

or

  1. is willing to complete an approved training course within an agreed timescale
  • Panel membership requirements:
  1. Current membership of the Law Society’s Family Panel Accreditation Scheme

or

  1. Current membership of the Law Society’s Children Panel Accreditation Scheme
    or
  2. Current Part 1 (core assignment) of the Resolution Specialist Accreditation Scheme

or

  1. Current Resolution Specialist Accreditation Scheme
  • Can demonstrate Family Case involvement (350 hours each year over the past 3 years)
