With over 40 years work in the legal sector, Helen is a prominent solicitor practising in International Child Abduction today and having had a case heard in the Court of Justice of the European Union.  

Helen has been with PJH since 1984, and alongside her International Child Abduction work, she undertakes other aspect of cross border and other children work including relocation, wardship, care proceedings and children cases with an international element. Helen is known for her thorough knowledge in this complex area of law but also heads up the Debt Recovery and Personal Injury departments, having first started her career in these fields. Her attention to detail is second-to-none, as is her tenacity, thus ensuring that every client is provided with the best legal advice possible.

Helen is the firm’s representative on the International Child Abduction and Contact Unit (ICACU) Child abduction accredited solicitors’ referral list and is a founding member or the Child Abduction Lawyers’ Association (CALA). She is also an accredited member of the Law Society’s “Family Law Advanced” scheme, a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and on the Lawyers’ lists of the French Consulate and US Embassy in London, as well as the Reunite International Lawyers’ network.
