Thakmina Begum

I qualified as a solicitor in February 2013, practicing solely in family, children and matrimonial law. I am on the Law Society Family Panel member which is a specialist accreditation for lawyers advising on the law relating to family matters. I enjoy and undertake most of my own court work providing clients with continuity of representation.

I specialise in helping clients involved in domestic abuse and matters relating to children but primarily deal with cases involving victims of domestic abuse and securing protection from the Family Courts. In addition, I represent clients in complex private law children proceedings concerning residence and contact disputes. I also represent parents in Care proceedings issued by the Local Authority.

Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and sports. When I can, I love to travel and learn about different cultures of the world.
